Friday!

For most people, today is their last work day of the week. For mommies, their jobs are never done!

But I get some help during the weekend, now that Daddy is almost done working for the week.

Yesterday I bought Wilson some adorable pjs that were on clearance for 2.00. So yesterday evening we video taped him eating and playing around in them.

So cute and amazing how much a 10 month old has changed in just a month!

Amy Cornwell Giveaway!

Last year I made a blog post called Something to Treasure

I bought a small, beautiful handstamped necklace that I love to wear!

I also bought my mother in law a necklace from her and she loves it too! Well Amy Cornwell is doing a giveaway for a new necklace and it is adorable!!

So I'm entering in hopes of maybe winning one for myself.

The question is what picture would I use if I actually was lucky enough to win???

Hanging out...

I shared a more boring one on facebook, but this one he's a little more active.

Our new Washer and Dryer.

Well we did it. After my extensive research, Andy, Wilson and I took a trip to Lowe's and bought our washer and dryer.

I had posted a facebook status about it and got lots of good advice.

I seriously debated buying used from Craigslist, but here's the thing about craigslist: unless you live in a big city that means more inventory, you are literally looking for a needle in a haystack!

Heck, half the time I've bought stuff on craigslist, I had to drive an hour to Indianapolis because that's where all the good stuff was.

After looking at craigslist for a week, I decided that going that route would not be best for me.

I also have to say that the price of one washer and dryer, that I even considered wasn't a good enough deal to buy right off the guy, and it's Murphy's Law that once I would've bought it something on it would break.

So with that said, I ended up looking around online to see if any stores that sold washers and dryers had any sales going on.

Well Lowe's right now had all their appliances 10% off, and their Energy Star products on sale for 15%.

I checked out their inventory online, and then after discussing it with Andy, we headed out to our nearest one and checked what they had in stock.

We ended up going with a set that is probably in the middle.

The Washer:

and the Dryer:

On top of the 15% off that it was already on sale from, we got an extra 10% off from Andy being in the military!

And with that as well, we get free delivery and installation.

I get to go to the house tomorrow and watch them install our washer and dryer and essentially play around with my new washer and dryer.

I now have to educate myself on HE stuff and how to properly use them!

I will be sure to properly review them, once I've tested them out!

Can't Wait!

For us to be living in our super cute house! I've been working on the downstairs bathroom and the upstairs bathroom but haven't taken any pictures just yet.

We only had bathroom stuff for one bathroom and that is currently packed away and will be going in our master bathroom, so I had to buy all new bathroom stuff for the two other bathrooms.

The two other big things on my list is getting a guest bed for hopefully family that will be wanting to come down and visit and a washer and dryer.

I know my dad has already said he is for sure visiting and I think my in laws may try to make a trip down as well, and my brother too.

The weather actually got cooler the past couple days and I was actually cold! Well I guess I probably shouldn't have been wearing a tank top. It was only 70 degrees. LOL

Andy has a 3day weekend today and is currently sleeping in. Something he never gets to do anymore!

Wilson is just a couple days from being 10 months old. Oh my.

Life in the deep South so far.

Right now we are in this weird limbo! We have our house, but no furniture! We are living in a 1 bedroom unit that has a full kitchen and washer and dryer but it is not a home.

The very nice thing is the hotel is on base so I'm very close to Andy. The not nice thing is everything else is off base! LOL

Biloxi is from everything I can tell a bit bigger than Muncie. I think that that is because this is very much a travel/vacation spot. We are a half a mile from the gulf and there is a highway right off of it that I like to drive on and look at the gulf coast and the everything.

One plus is their mall actually has a food court!

I know that this is just a temporary thing, we will only be living here for like 6 months, but I really want to be all settled in our very cute house.

There is going to be a very nice space down in the living room for Wilson to run around.

Of course the house is going to look like a toy factory though because once the movers come I'll be able to have all his toys out finally!

The movers come on Friday and I'm hoping it doesnt take them longer than a week to get down here.

Hopefully by then Andy will be all moved in as well!

Life with a crawling baby has been amazing and scary so far! He is constantly bonking his head on evertything and loves outlets and drawers and will open and close them on his fingers.

He's been jabbering a lot too! Sometime I think he knows that he is calling for me when he says "Ma-Ma"

Andy is trying desperately to get him to say "Da-Da" but so far its just the MMM sounds.

The newest adorable thing is sometimes he will scrunch his face up all cute when he's looking at you! I need to try to get it on video or picture because it is just the most adorable thing!!

Well hopefully I'll have more to blog about in the next week!

Coffee Table Debate.

So with having a now crawling infant, I've realized that those big wooden coffee tables are just no fun!

Wilson is constantly banging his head on the coffee table at my in laws and I've decided that when we move, I want to invest in a more safer coffee table.

So here are a few ones that I saw at target and like:

This leather looking one is 200.00

I like it because its a little wider than just a storage bench and it looks like Wilson wouldn't hurt his head quite as much if he knocks against it. I'm not a huge fan of the color though.

This one is 150.00

I like both colors though but I was trying to go with a red color.. I feel like I have enough brown in the couches and the furniture so I'd probably lean towards the burnt orange color and try to mix it up with the red accents that I have. Hmmm..

The cheapest at 130.00

I'm not sure how I feel about this one.. I threw it in there because its a 3 piece set but I'm just not a fan of how dark it is.. maybe I need to buy new couches instead! LOL

In a blink of an eye.

Everything can change. I'm finding that out right now in my life, with everything going on.

Wilson has now started to crawl and I'm amazed by it. For weeks now he had been pushing up on his hands and knees and not moving anywhere and all of a sudden now, or maybe it wasn't so sudden, he was now learning to sit himself up from a laying down position, to now actually crawling.

I also went and visited my mom and family this past week. It was wonderful getting to see my mom, stepfather, and two sisters!

The last time I had seen Sarah, who is the youngest, was when she was Wilson's age! And now here she is, going to be starting school in September! How time flies!

Wilson is getting more teeth as well and has been very drooly and wanting to bite everything.

Another HUGE change coming up is just around the corner.

I'm nervous, excited, scared. This is going to be a new life for all of us as a family. Having Wilson so close to our family and now taking him away. I'm losing a sense of security, that I personally never really had growing up.

I'm hoping for an easy transition, to not feel overwhelmed, to be able to make friends, and settle into a temporary kind of life until another big change happens.

We signed up for this, a life of constant change, I even grew up in a lifestyle like this, but I didn't have the security of family and friends like I have now. It's a bittersweet feeling for sure.

I only hope that we will have lots of times together, and wonderful memories to make for our family.

At some point I'm going to have to post pictures but I'll probably just put them up on facebook! So if you are my friend on there check them out!
