So I snagged a deal today over on zulily.
Paperculture was featured on zulily, where you can get $50 for $20 bucks. Sounded like a great deal so I went ahead and bought it. I started to look around and saw the company itself seems really great and Eco-concious.
Here's what they have to say about themselves at Zulily.
Whether announcing Baby's arrival, inviting friends to a birthday bash
or spreading season's greetings, Paper Culture makes sending keepsake
cards simple and stylish! Every modern, design-minded card is made with
ultra-premium paper and rounded corners. Plus, they're a CarbonFree®
company that plants a tree in a US national forest with every order and
uses only 100% post-consumer recycled paper for their cards and
envelopes. With professional designers working on every order and two
free digital proofs to guarantee complete satisfaction, being green has
never been easier—or looked better!
Did you read that? They plant a tree with every order? They use recycled paper for their cards and envelopes?
Also not mentioned is that they will mail your cards that you make for you and all you have to pay is the price for the stamp.
I know other websites that offer this as well but they charge you a bit more than just the stamp. Which speaking of. I have none. Oops. So good to know for when I actually mail out my cards. Hehe.
Here's a couple cards that I like. Aren't they cute?

Toddler free bed! Cranky baby.
By some crazy chance, we were able to put Stinks to bed in his bed! So I get to blog in my bed with no two year old constantly kicking me. Yay!
As you can see, I have an adorable baby girl. She is normally happy, curious, and eager to eat food of any kind.
But these past two days she has been the opposite of all those qualities afore mentioned.
I noticed two nights ago when we got back from the park, she felt hot. Then I tried to feed her dinner and she was so upset and didn't eat. That's when I knew she wasn't feeling good.
I thought also maybe she was just tired. So off to bath time aka scream time, and she cried the whole time I dried her off and put her clothes on.
I put her in her crib and surprisingly she went to sleep. I heard her a couple times in the night, but she never cried, she just made little noises. So I knew she hadn't slept very well. (Neither did I, thanks to the two year old.)
The next day was pretty rough. Cranky the whole day and still not eating. Also had a cranky two year old because I couldn't take Callie outside, where the two year old wants to go like ALL the time.
Luckily, my husband had these days off so I had some help. He would take stinks outside while I took care of cranky baby girl. He even let me sleep in this morning!
And now i get to enjoy my nice bed toddler free! Ahh!

Blog? What blog?
It's been a while.
I blame bedtime troubles with the 2 year old. Husband working 3-11pm so I don't have the extra help. And laziness, of course.
I'd blog more but I made my head hurt by watching old videos sideways on my computer. So here's a bunch of pictures.

A new journey for us.
Well, this is a bit of a hard post to write. Mostly because I can't quite separate my own emotions from it all but here we go.
Yesterday, Wilson was diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder.
I didn't really know what it is, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around it.
But it makes sense.
My two year old can't speak to us. He uses words here and there, but mostly his communication is really just jabbering nonsensical things with maybe a word in there that we can recognize.
I don't know where this journey is going to take us. Well, I do know it involves therapy. (Currently in the works to get started.)
But where is it going to take Wilson? How is this going to affect the rest of his childhood? Is he going to have issues in school? Is he not going to have friends now that he is "labeled" differently?
How are Andy and I going to handle the appointments and sessions, when we have only one car? How is this going to affect Callie? How is this all going to affect us as a family?
I don't know.
But we have a plan. We are committed to getting Wilson the best help there is. Let's start on this new path. See where it takes us.

Random ramblings.
I've been slacking on blogging, as much as I want to write down even the littlest detail, my selfish desires or my duties as a mother/wife/house maintainer pull me away.
Wilson is obsessed with poop. Not the act of it but if I change his or Callie's diaper he has to say "poo-poo" and other jargon that I can't quite figure out.
Or if he sees me potty-ing, he tells me it. Well i'd like to think its a good sign for potty training, but being that he gets upset when I try to sit him on the potty (which resulted in him peeing on me and the floor) I'd say that he's not ready yet.
Well at least I'm experiencing what it's like to change two little ones diapers.
Twins would be a piece of cake!!!
Callie has hit the fun stage of being mobile and crawling her way into everything!
She's obsessed with my phone and food.
She finally cut her two front teeth, which resulted in some crankiness, but I can't complain. She slept through the nights, but we had some fussy moments before bed.
Wilson still is taking his time with talking, he picks up new words here and there, but is still mostly baby jabbering. If he weren't saying new words I would be worried a lot more.
He also prefers to fall asleep in our bed, rather than his own. We've cut out the naptime if I can't get him to sleep at an early time, and I've noticed that if he does nap late, we have a harder time getting him in his own bed.
Like tonight, Andy was able to put him in his own bed with no problems.
Callie sadly is a 1 or 2 (if you count falling asleep in the jumper) napper. I'd love to get more but it's better that we can get her right down at 8 pm, than get another nap, which would push her bedtime back.
Andy and I are discussing if we want a 3rd baby.
Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't.
It's so hard to say we are done when we see the two amazing, adorable, drive us crazy, make us question why we had kids in the first place, little babies.
It's so hard, but it's so amazing.
We are going to wait a LOT longer this time if we do have one more amazing little one.
Check back in 3 years. (I'm in the one more mood if you couldn't tell.) ;-)

Super proud.
So our family has had an exciting past couple days!
On Wednesday, my husband went up for his Below the Zone board.
Basically it's a chance to go up in rank 6 months earlier. Which is huge for us.
We get a pay raise, and it helps Andy out in his career in the air force.
Thursday, we were all dying of anticipation, wondering when we would hear.
All day we waited, and heard nothing. So Thursday evening when Andy came home, he decided to stop obsessing over it, and that he'd find out eventually.
So Friday comes by and Andy finds out he was selected! We were all pretty happy.
This is something Andy worked really hard to try to get, it feels really great to have him win and be acknowledged for his efforts.
I'm really proud and happy for him. Being in the military has really helped shape him into the man he needed to become. Oh, he's still a work in progress (aren't we all?) but he has come a long ways.
Anyways, we have been excited and happy for this upcoming promotion!

Slacking on blogging.
I've been slacking a bit. Normally I might find some time to blog on my phone while watching Wilson run around and Callie scooting around.
But something has taken my attention away from that. That something is A Game of Thrones.
Umm, I'm a little obsessed.
Our neighbors let us borrow their Season 1 Dvds and I was hooked. Like mega hooked. Like I went and downloaded all the books and haven't put my kindle down.
Also I had to finish my other book Shadow of Night, the second novel from the All Souls Trilogy.
So I've been a reading maniac during my free time when the kids are happy and content and not interested in playing with mommy.
Also naptimes for Stinks has disappeared now. We get them randomly if he just happens to pass out somewhere on the floor or on the couch. But trying to stick to a scheduled nap for him was creating MAJOR complications in bed time. So we have cut them out and are getting his bed time back on schedule.
He's sleeping in his crib, but it has been converted to a toddler bed now. *Sniff sniff* He was climbing out of it too much so we decided to go ahead and take the railing off.
Callie just turned 9 months old and is a scooting little machine! She started learning to scoot about 3 weeks ago. It is SO different from Wilson's perfect crawl. He would push himself on his hands and knees for the longest time and rock back and forth, until he finally perfected it.
Callie, on the other hand, is perfectly fine doing her army crawl/scoot. She LOVES getting into everything, especially her brother's things.
If he leaves his sippy cup on the floor, that's the FIRST thing she's going after.
It's actually really funny to see Callie get over there so determined, only to have her big brother realize what's going on and yell "MINE!" and try to take it away.
I need to get her in for her 9 month stats. At her 6 months she weighed less than Wilson by a pound but was an inch longer.
I get the feeling that she will again weigh less but be longer. =)
So in a nutshell... I'm slacking, babies are keeping me on my toes, and I have way too many hobbies and not enough time for them all.
But something has taken my attention away from that. That something is A Game of Thrones.
