On the 25th we finally got Callie in for her 4 month wellness visit.
Her stats are:
14 lb 9 oz
25 inches
42.5 cm circumference
I was hoping for a little more weight but she is actually in the 50th percentile for weight and 55th for height. She's 75th for head.
Wilson weighed more and was bigger than her at 4 months but was lower on the growth scale.
I plan on introducing cereal to her this weekend as I can tell she is interested in food and always seems hungry. I'm literally nursing every hour it seems. And she wakes up multiple times in the night.
I'm ready for sleep and for a less fussy baby, but I also want to keep trying to breastfeed as long as I can.
She's not exclusively breastfed by any means. She has gotten formula, but so far 90% of her eating is breastmilk. So I've made it almost 5 months now and it is a lot of work! We might do a switch at 6 months to formula and foods because I need a less fussy baby. Some of it of course may be her personality but poor Wilson gets neglected because I'm nursing Callie around the clock. He does a lot of playing by himself more than he should. And I feel guilty for that. Hopefully I can figure out something so that I can get a break and get to play with Wilson more.

Birthday planning begins.
Last year for Wilson's birthday I really wanted to go all out. First birthdays are a big huge event for Koreans and even though I'm only half and my babies only 1/4th, I still want to incorporate some of those things into their lives.
Unfortunately, we had moved and had made some friends but Wilson only had like one actual friend. My brother and his girlfriend did drive down to Indiana so that was really sweet and special. Wilson had some family there to see him!
For his second though, no family coming out. I think it must be Louisiana! I mean who wants to visit here?
But I have made wonderful new mommy friends and Wilson actually has a variety of friends to play with of all ages!
So birthday planning has begun.
I decided on a rock star theme, and am trying to go somewhat frugal but I think the thing about birthday parties is when you plan a theme, you end up spending more than just having a cake and some presents.
And that's okay. I'm sure not every year we will do something extravagant. But maybe we will thanks to pinterest.
I mean it has made it really easy for me to figure out an idea and things I want to do.
I've created a virtual birthday board. It doesn't have a lot of pins on it. But I did end up buying the blue printable pack. It has a lot of things. A banner, pictures, cupcake toppers, invitations, etc. And I got this digital package for 9.50 on etsy.
I haven't taken it to go print them off but I'm curious to see how much it will cost. Will it end up being cheaper than buying already made party stuff? I'll blog about that afterwards I guess.
I'm super excited about doing something crafty though. I'll be making Microphone cupcakes for the party.
But I plan on using chocolate frosting and chocolate sprinkles rather than the black because I don't want all the kids to have creepy black mouths. (From the dye I think) And.. I will probably be lazy and omit the licorice. (Boy I'm lazy!) But yuck I hate licorice and I think even without the wire you can still tell it's a microphone.
I can't wait to have everything all planned out. I plan on going today and getting things printed like the invitations.

Hey! Look pictures.
So this past Saturday, Andy and I attended our first military ball. As far as balls goes, this one was pretty big!
It was held at Sam's Town Casino in their huge conference center. I felt like it was going to prom all over again.
We dropped the babies off at our good friends house. I had another friend help me with my hair. And then spanxed my way into my dress. =)
We then met up with our other really good friends who happens to be an up and coming photographer. She has already taken tons of pictures of me.
Maternity:
Birth of Callie:
Newborn of Callie:
Okay you get the picture! Just tons of wonderful pictures taken! Well Angie wanted to take some pictures of us downtown, all glammed up for the ball.
So here we are! I can't wait to see more of them.
I'll try to blog more about the actual ball some other time but right now I just spent all morning watching two 2 year olds and a 2 month old and a 4.5 month old.
It was a lot of fun. The boys running around tearing the house up and the two baby girls kinda giving me looks like "What the heck is going on??"

1. Who mows your grass?
We live on base and they have a contract with people to do our lawns. YAY! Andy and I are not garden/lawn people.
2. Do you have a picture wall or picture gallery in your house (show us! <--- my addition to the question)?
I dont actually have a picture gallery but I do have 3 big picture frames in our living room. One is featuring pictures of Callie, one of Wilson, and one with a mix of family pictures.
3. What book has influenced your thinking the most? Or, what blog? (I want to read what gets people thinking!)
What gets me thinking? Wow. I must not think too deeply about things because I am drawing a blank. I do read articles on Yahoo and other news sources. Mostly about parenting. A very moving blog that I read while I was pregnant with Wilson was He will carry me
A very heartbreaking blog of a woman who lost a child to Trisonomy 18. I honestly couldn't imagine facing what she and her husband had to face. To know that the child you were carrying would basically be born to die. Ack. I get a lump in my throat just thinking about it.
4. Do you have allergies? If so, how do you handle it this time of year?
I
think as I have gotten older I have developed seasonal allergies. They
seem pretty bad around fall time. But I have moved in the past 2 years
from 3 different areas. Luckily nothing too terrible, just sneezing and
itchy throat. I am unfortunately allergic to cats or else I would
probably have one! I love kitties!!
5. What's your go to meal to cook in an hurry?
In a hurry? Probably anything I can throw into a crockpot and just forget about. Slow cooker Taco Soup is one of my all-time favorites.
This recipe is fairly close to the one I make except I add a can of White Hominy in mine.
We get a bag of tortilla chips, shredded cheese, and sour cream and go at it!

Toddle Along Tuesday
Oh man. Another absolute favorite one of mine. When I did last week's TAT favorite picture, I posted our favorite picture of Stinks. But there is another one that is our absolute favorite as well.
Look at Stinks. So clearly hating life in his oh so cute Dinosaur costume. He was about 5 and a half months old here. We were trying to get a cute picture of him and instead got this. I don't know about you but every time I see this, I laugh. Even on my worst days, I look at this picture and think, "Well at least I don't have it as bad as Dinosaur Stinks."
He actually was not even upset. Right after we snapped the picture, I picked him up and he was just looking around chilling. Seriously, too funny.

Easter!
I decided to dress my babies up in their finest to try and take some pictures. Professional photographer I am not, and with one not able to sit up on her own, and the other one you can't get to sit still, let's just say that it ended up in disaster and my camera once again sits on the shelf, collecting dust.
But I did manage a couple cute shots on my handy iPhone which is now capturing 95% of all pictures taken.
Either way I got their little baskets together and for Wilson gave him a couple lollipops as his special treat. He also got bubbles, sidewalk chalk, new toothbrushes, and a chocolate covered marshmallow egg!
Callie got less sadly, I wanted to buy her a first Easter bib and ears but they were all gone when I went shopping. So she got a lil toothbrush scrubber for teeth not yet here. Two new books, and some headbands. I also bought them both a small inflatable pool. Callie can't sit on her own so I imagine only Wilson will be playing with it here for a little while.
Andy's working today so we are just hanging out like a normal day. I'm not doing any crazy Easter dinner. We are just doing everything low key!
